Welcome to LePort Montessori Aldie
Imagine your child being able to run on a wide grassy field, to creatively play with friends, building with logs and branches under old-growth trees, and to tend to the school chickens which provide eggs for baking in class. Imagine her being able to choose where to work—to pick a spot on a rug or at a wooden table in classrooms with 10 foot windows, or to take work outside, in a private courtyard on a sunny day. Imagine her as a toddler, learning to button her own clothes, as a preschooler sewing a button onto an apron, as a kindergartener doing arithmetic into the thousands with beautiful math materials, such as shiny golden beads strung together into bars and cubes.
At LePort School Aldie, children flourish in an elementary school converted to a beautiful Montessori environment for infants through elementary. Children love the freedom our 11-acre campus provides, and relish the opportunity to sing and perform for their parents on the stage of our multi-purpose room.
In our dual-accredited Montessori school, our certified teachers guide your child in his explorations, nurturing his spirit, and challenging him to learn just as fast and far as his mind and spirit will take him.
You’ll find our school right on Route 50, just west of Stone Ridge, and right on your way to work and shopping from many of the new neighborhoods in the Aldie area. Families from Willowsford, Lenah Woods, Stone Ridge, The Meadows, Lenah Mill, and many others find a welcoming community at our school. We’re also an easy drive from Brambleton and South Riding.
After 21 years of offering Montessori education under the Boyd School name, our school, along with the six other Boyd campuses, is now joining the LePort Schools community. Our founders have chosen LePort Schools to continue their legacy of offering high-quality Montessori programs in Loudoun and Fairfax counties since 1994. We’re excited about this transition, and especially about the opportunity to bring both infant and elementary programs to our community, so you can have one place for your children to flourish from infancy through sixth grade.
