We invite you to discover our wonderful, nurturing Montessori programs for toddlers and preschool-aged children. Our neighborhood preschool is housed in a small, home-like building, with a warm, welcoming feel. We are conveniently located next to the Irvine Woodbridge shopping center, on Lake Road, between Alton and Barranca.
As our authentic Montessori program has been around for over ten years, your child will benefit from stable, mixed-age classrooms communities, led by a highly-trained, nurturing, teaching staff. All of our head teachers have completed the most rigorous, year-long AMI Montessori certification, and most have been with us for many years.
Our parent community is a group of active and engaged families from our local neighborhood who bring with them a wide range of ethnic backgrounds. Most importantly, though, they share a common aspiration of offering their children the best start in life by choosing an educational environment, not just traditional daycare!
Thank you so much for your interest in our Montessori preschool. I have been active in the Montessori community in Orange County for over forty years, and I look forward to sharing with you my passion for the education of young children assisting them in their personal growth and development as individuals.
At our school, we aspire to create a warm atmosphere where children and parents alike feel welcome, respected and nurtured: At our school, each staff member knows every child’s name; parents have easy access to teachers who are available after the end of the school day, in person, via email or phone; and our full-time administrative team—Rose, Christina and I—are here to help you with the every-day challenges of parenting a toddler or preschooler in today’s busy world.

A child’s early years are a time of great sensitivity to bonding in order to establish trust in the world, as well as language, order, sensorial impressions, and development of coordinated movement, both fine- and gross-motor.
Your toddler has a once in a lifetime opportunity to absorb information from the environment, like a sponge. That’s why Montessori for toddlers is more than just childcare: we provide a toddler with the ideal environment to make the most of this irreplaceable period of time.
He is especially sensitive to order – and we build on that interest to establish good habits that last a lifetime. He is also able to absorb language from his environment – learning even big words easily and with pleasure – and becomes happier as he learns the words to express his needs, rather than needing to resort to crying or tantrums. Most surprisingly, he is eager to learn to take care of himself, to become independent – and we guide him to learn how to do things by himself, thereby developing his budding sense of self-efficacy.
