Our Infant room provides soft floor mats and pull-up bars to encourage physical activity and exploration.

We actively encourage language development, with games, read-aloud sessions, and music and movement.

Materials for fine motor development and cause and effect, such as this object permanence box, are available to older infants and toddlers.

From the youngest ages, our students spend much time outside, in specially prepared outside spaces equipped for each age group.

The Mommy & Me Montessori program is a great opportunity for parents to explore the Montessori environment together with their children.

Whether in Mommy & Me or in our other programs, art is integrated every day.

Our teachers encourage active play and movement. We love to see children running, climbing and exploring their world!

From the start, we encourage children to develop independence, such as here during toddler snack time.

Montessori Infant & Toddler Programs

Educating a child begins at birth. We believe that children are learning every day, and that our role as the caring adults in their lives is to create a safe, nurturing prepared environment where they can explore their world fully.

The Infant and Toddler programs at LePort are special. Deliberately designed around the unique needs of the youngest children, the infant and toddler environments offer much more than just day care. The Mommy & Me program offers parents and children a great opportunity to try out LePort Montessori in a supportive environment, led by experienced teachers.
