A Superior Curriculum

We know what young people need to learn and how they learn it best. We also know that learning can be enjoyable. To stimulate and educate, we combine the rich, challenging content of an academic curriculum with a proven, objective method of learning. In language arts and mathematics, your child will develop strong skills in literacy and numeracy. He or she will also learn about world-changing ideas, events, and individuals in history class; read classics of yesterday and today in literature class; and explore key discoveries and inventions in science class. Our chronological approach to teaching literature, history, and science enables students to understand the development of ideas in these fields and to draw connections between them. Students build a knowledge base that is comprehensive, deep, and integrated.

Individualized, Self-Paced Instruction

Your child's program will be individualized to meet his or her unique strengths or needs. Upon enrollment, each student receives diagnostic tests to determine correct placement in each of the subject areas. Lessons are presented in a step-by-step manner; regular review and close monitoring help students master a new skill or concept before moving on to more difficult material. To maintain enthusiasm and motivation about learning, each child is encouraged to advance in each subject at his or her own rate. Productive days with lots of individual attention mean little homework at night.
