Financial Aid

Are you excited about LePort but worried about covering the cost of private education? We are here to help. Our financial aid program is designed to assist qualifying families by bridging the gap between what you can afford and our regular tuition. Financial aid reduces your tuition costs and does not need to be paid back.

Applying for aid is quick and worthwhile, even if you are an upper-middle-class family. Aid is awarded based on multiple factors, not just income. For example, if you have several children, live in a high-cost area, or face other financial challenges, you may still qualify for aid.

Most of our awards cover 5–40% of tuition. The program is intended for families who can cover at least 60% of the tuition themselves. In the past, we’ve been able to offer aid to 50-80% of the families who applied. You can apply for aid before receiving an enrollment offer, so you are ready to decide as soon as a spot becomes open.

We know that a great education can change your child’s life. If finances are the only thing holding you back, we urge you to apply for aid. We are eager to help make it possible for your child to join our school community. If you have more questions, please contact us at FinancialAid@leportschools.com.

Financial Aid FAQs

Who can apply for financial aid?

Any student who meets our acceptance criteria can apply for financial aid. Financial aid is available to students in all of our programs. The admissions process does not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, gender, or any protected class.

What factors are considered when awarding financial aid?

Financial aid is awarded based on three main factors: your demonstrated financial need, your child’s potential fit for our schools, and the availability of funds at your school.

Do current students receive priority for financial aid?

Yes. Current students who have received aid in the past or whose financial situations have changed are given priority to ensure continuity in their education.

Why do I need to tour the school before applying?

We require a tour to ensure that our school is the right fit for your family. Touring allows you to be added to our interest list and provides a better understanding of our programs before completing the financial aid application.

How are decisions made?

FAST reviews your information and provides a recommendation to our Financial Aid Committee. They consider additional factors, such as whether your child is already a student or has a Montessori background, before making a decision.

Am I guaranteed to receive aid if I apply?

No. Financial aid is not guaranteed. The budget for aid varies by campus, and if funds are exhausted, your child may not receive aid. We will inform you if aid is offered at another campus.

Is my financial information kept confidential?

Yes. Your information is only reviewed by FAST and the Financial Aid Committee.

Is there a deadline to apply for financial aid?

You can apply for financial aid at any time, but the sooner you apply, the more likely it is that funds will still be available.

How will I know if I’ve been awarded financial aid?

You will receive a letter informing you of the amount awarded within 7-10 business days after completing your application.

Is there an application fee?

Yes. The non-refundable $45 application fee is required when submitting your financial aid application to FAST.

Do I need to reapply for financial aid each year?

Yes. Families must reapply each year. Award amounts may vary based on changes in your financial situation or the available aid budget. Priority is typically given to our returning students.
