They are patient, loving, and caring with my little girl. We are so happy with this daycare! Thank you, LePort! Sher S. We did a Mommy and Me class at LePort Irvine Westpark with my 3-year-old and he loved it! This was his first intro to preschool and my first experience with the Montessori method and it was overall a great experience. We both learned a lot, maybe me more than him! Nikki R. My daughters have attended this school since they were 2 years old and they now have such a strong foundation of skills to build on. My husband and I look back and agree that this was the best decision we could have ever made. We highly recommend enrolling your kids at LePort Montessori! Juliette G. My husband and I feel so lucky that our son had such an amazing teacher for the last 3 years. He loved her class from the start and never grew bored. He can read, write, and do basic math. Childcare and schooling at LePort Montessori Irvine Westpark has been a great experience from the start. Maliheh S. Our daughter has been enrolled with LePort Montessori Irvine Westpark for almost a year now and I cannot praise this preschool enough. My daughter is an energetic child and the teachers have done a wonderful job helping her focus on learning. At just under 3, she speaks clearly, holds full conversations, and reasons well. Mitul M. Watch Your Child Grow Our focus is making sure your child is happy, thriving, and ready for what comes next. The magic of Montessori is hands-on learning that builds your child’s confidence. When children are confident and independent, they are far more likely to succeed in all aspects of life. Explore Our Programs Infants Toddlers Preschool After School The Key Elements of Montessori: Mixed-Age Classrooms In Montessori schools, children of different ages learn together in the same classroom. Older students can help the younger ones, and younger children can learn by watching and working with the older children. It is like having a big family in the classroom! Children make friends, learn from each other, and create a strong community. They also stay with the same teacher for several years. This helps the teacher develop a strong bond with each child and understand what they need to grow and learn. Uninterrupted Work Time Montessori students have long, uninterrupted periods of time to work with materials that meet their interests. This gives them the chance to focus deeply on their work and learn at their own pace. They can take their time, be creative, and solve problems without feeling rushed. The 3-hour work period allows the children to fully engage in what they are doing, helping them build concentration and develop important skills. It also lets them enjoy the learning process without having to stop and switch to something else too quickly. Montessori Materials Montessori classrooms are filled with hands-on materials that help children learn by doing. Children get to work at their own level and move forward as they understand each new idea. These materials teach math, language, and life skills in a way that’s easy to understand. For example, in math, children use the Golden Beads to learn about counting and place value. They hold and count units, tens, hundreds, and thousands, which helps them understand how numbers work. Highly Trained Teachers Montessori teachers receive unique training. They watch their students to see what they are interested in and when they are ready to learn something new. This helps teachers give lessons at just the right time. It makes learning exciting and meaningful for each child. Teachers also help their students become independent by allowing them to do things on their own. They know just how much help to give, so their students feel confident and think for themselves. Health, Safety, and Communications At LePort Montessori, we deeply value safety and trust. Our school maintains high safety standards through individualized keypad access for authorized pick-ups, allowing us to track all child drop-offs and pick-ups. Additionally, gates leading to parking areas remain secured with adult-access locks. Please see all the ways we ensure the safety of our children and regular communications with our families.
