Extended Care Hours: 7:30AM-8AM, 3PM-5:30PM

Summer Camp Rates:
$400 Weekly, 8AM-3PM (prorated for July 3rd holiday and short weeks)
$81 Weekly, Optional Extended Care 7:30AM-8AM, 3PM-5:30PM

Summer Camp Activities

All Things Art!

June 17th – June 19th & June 22nd – June 26th (Weeks 1 & 2); Art Exhibit on 6/26

Your child will explore drawing, painting, and three dimensional art. Much of this work begins with the stories of famous artists and their lives. While your child will be creating fun works of art, they will be learning about famous artists as well as the places they have lived. Afternoons will consist of visiting the Galleries on Cedros Avenue and inviting artists in residence.

Fun With Games Inside and Out

June 29th – July 2nd & July 6th – July 10th (Weeks 3 & 4)

Board games, games outside, and students creating their own games. Your child has the opportunity to be a learner and a teacher during this summer session. Games outside will include trips to the beach as well as local parks, with obstacle courses and races.

Fun with Baking and Creating

July 13th – July 17th (Week 5); Bake Sale on 7/17

Your child will be inspired to learn about baking and making edible treats. They will also make their own cookbooks and learn about measurement and math. There are also local bakeries and smoothie shops students will visit in Solana Beach.

Performing Arts

July 17th – July 24th & July 27th – July 31st (Weeks 6 & 7); Play on 7/31

Your child will have the opportunity to engage the mind, body, and emotions in collaborative expression. Students will learn about different approaches and be given the opportunity to act, sing, dance, create, and perform their own plays.

Writing Camp

August 3rd – August 7th (Week 8)

Your child will find joy in writing – journals, poetry, and plays. Graphic organizers will be used to encourage descriptive and narrative writings. Of course, illustration will be a big piece of this with art activities.

Science!

August 10th – August 14th (Week 9)

Your child will enjoy lessons and activities related to science – beginning level physics and chemistry, working with magnets and understanding the work of the air and the water!
